Such a Silly Cow

This is now one of my favorite cow images, I like that it takes very little coloring to have her/Loving Life looking pretty!

I wanted a wide border to print a sentiment on so the out of the box technique for the cow helped create it.  The sentiment is computer generated.
I then masked off the cow with a sticky note (which I'll store for later use) and stamped on the fence, it took two stamping across the panel and I started on the left.

Prismacolor pencils were used to color the image.

Got me a Frog!

-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image except for the skin which was done with Copic markers.

-I love the out of the box technique for keeping the panel and borders smaller and it made a big difference in the layout for this card.

-The fence image is stamped on both panels at once by measuring and lining the panel up to each other and the card’s edge (repostitional tape held them together). When stamping two layers at once there is always an area that doesn’t get stamped but the borders will cover it. Once the borders are attached it’s easy to line the panels up again with the measurements taken before stamping. I keep small sewing slide rulers handy so I don’t have to jot down the measurements.  Here's a photo of two:

-The faux embossing on the card base is done by punching the frogs, layering two together and gluing them to the card. Trim the edges as needed.

-The Kraft, green, designer paper and frogs were ink distressed.

Accessories: The Paper Studio – brads, Prismacolor pencils, Copic markers, Aleene’s tacky glue

Tooth Fairy Quilt

Hi there. I hope you all enjoyed our hop last weekend. I will be picking a winner for the gift certificate later today, and hope to have it posted by this evening. Well today I thought I would continue with using one of the QKR Stampede Angel stamps and show you this Tooth Fairy image. Isn't she cute?!! I colored her with marker, and fussy cut her out. I added some smootch to her wings and the teeth, and some copper stickles to the coin. Next, I layered her onto this "quilted" background with foam tape. There is a great tutorial on Splitcoast for how to make this background. It really is very easy, and looks sooo cool. It is also a great way to use some of those scraps of PP up...since you only need 3/4" x 3/4" squares. Last I added the little pink "pearls" and the rub-on sentiment.
That is all from me for now. Be sure to check out the QKR Stampede Store for more angel images and TONS of other fun images.

Bundled Up -Brrr It's Cold

OK maybe it isn't as cold right now, but living in WI it can change on a dime up until the middle of April.
QKR Stampede has so many wonderful choices of images to use- I love that you can buy either red rubber or digital to choose your favorites.
This image is called Bundled Up and is cute as a button.
I stamped this image several times on various patterned paper- now you know I had to fussy cut each piece and put them together.
The image was matted with a Spellbinder circle, I used several embellishment gems from Pizzaz APlenty to adorn the circle and the corners.
I have been on a mission to use several supplies I have in my stash- the green adhesive ribbon and fuzzy chenille were just perfect to add to this quick card.
I like having cards like this available in case I need a quick card- all I need to do is add a sentiment.
Background paper from DCWV glitter stack.

Over a Barrel

Hello my friends

Today we have the 4nd Tuesday of the month February and I can show you a card. Today I decided me for the stamp "Over a Barrel". from the shop QKR Stampede. I love those kind of images ;-)
The German words "Hey, was gibts" is translated "Hey, what is" ;-)

I colored the image with watercolor pencils and I wiped with turpentine.

Have a nice day
