Best Friends

I just love these adorable girls!!!
T
his image is another adorable one from the huge selections of stamps at

EUREKA STAMPS.

I made this card for my daughter to send to one of her friends.  I think she'll love receiving it!

So many of the girl stamps out there have small spaces to color...that's one of the things I love about this image...the easy to color spaces!

I didn't use a sentiment for this card so that it could be used for any occasion.
Stamps:
Paper:
Jillie Bean paper
Bazzill Basic Cardstock
Neenah white
Ink:
Memento tuxedo Black Dye ink
Copic Markers
Other:
Ofray Ribbon
Bazzil & Prima Mktg. flowers
Brads from my stash

I hope you enjoyed this bright, fun card!

I hope you have a bright, fun day!!!

Summer Fun...

Hello crafty friends!
Today I'm showing you a card made with the "Upset Golfer" image (#16507) from QKR Stampede.

My older brothers are big into golf and now my son is also.  Personally, I have never golfed and I'm sure I never will.  I think if I did you could put my face on this image and it would be appropriate.  LOL!

I used watercolor pencils to color this image and printed off the "Summer Fun..." from my computer.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check the other pages on the blog.  At the top of the page there are tabs for all 3 sister companies.  QKR Stampede, Biblical Impressions and Eureka! Stamps.  Each company now has a design team that will be posting on a regular basis.
I'm sure you will love the inspiration on all 3 blog pages as well as the variety of images you will find in the stores.  So be sure to check them out!

Be sure to stop back tomorrow (Friday, June 17) for the QKR Stampede Design Team Blog Hop, where we will be featuring some of the wonderful summer and 4th of July images.

Feel free to leave a comment and become a follower.
We love to hear what you think.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Ride Em Cowboy!

82204 - Rocking Horse is one of the cutest images to use for a child like card. Can you see all the shading I did on this wonderful image? I was hoping to accent the great lines and fine detail of this image.
Paper is from my stash-Embossed with Tim Holtz wood grain folder.
Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and just seemed to fit with these colors. The little ABC charm is from a new friend Therese- I love it on this card.

Sailor Ragdoll

Hello Friends!
Today's card features a QKR Stamp
 called Sailor Ragdoll.
QKR has a bunch of adorable ragdoll stamps!

I distressed a circle and then stamped the sailor in black ink.
I colored with colored pencil and then distressed over the top.
Thanks for visiting today!
See you next time!

Happy 4th of July - Eureka Style!

This is my first official blog posting as a member
 of Eureka Stamps design team!
I am thrilled to be able to show you some of their great designs!

Todays card features two of their patriotic images.

Patriotic Puppy 331043 and Patriotic Kitty 33001.

I distressed the circles first then stamped images in black.
Added color with colored pencil blending with mineral spirits.
Then I distressed over the top once again.

The background paper is some I have had for a while -
I can't remember who's paper it is, sorry!

Thanks for stopping today! I hope you will come back again!
Comments are always welcomed and appreciated!
See you next time!

Sunflower Fun

Hi there. Today I have a fun bright card using the Lg. Sunflower image from Biblical Impressions. I just love this image, and see so many fun uses for it. Well, today I went a bit "non-traditional" sunflower. See...nice and bright! I stamped the image 3 times, fussy cut 2 of them, and just the center of the 3rd. I used watercolor crayons, and colored the flowers purple, and the center yellow. Then I layered them all together (I used foam tape for the center layer), and sprayed with a homemade shimmer spray. (Water and a drop or 2 of liquid pearl in a spritzer bottle. Shake, and spray!) I then curled up the petals of the flower to add some dimension to the card. Last, I layered onto the various pieces of PP from Cosmo Cricket, and a sticker sentiment from SRM. That is all for me. Thanks for stopping by!
