QKR Saddle

Today's card uses a QKR stamp called Saddle.
I love this stamp! It would make a great card for a man
or anyone who loves horses!
I stamped the image in a dark brown distress ink
then used distress inks to watercolor the image.
I doodled the barbed wire around the frame
with a brown fine point marker.
Thanks for stopping today!
Have a great day! See you soon!

Let Me Light The Way

Today I have a beautiful image I think is really making a spectacular Christmas card.
Biblical Impressions has some great Christmas images to help you get started on your holiday cards.
33302 - Lg Candles is such a simple image, it can be colored like I did with Copic markers or it can just be stamped and used simple.
The red background paper is from Hobby Lobby- and the ribbon is Stampin Up.
Accent pearls are from Pizzazz Aplenty
So glad I could share this easy Christmas idea with you.
Biblical Impressions has some beautiful images for Christmas and every other holiday and occasion.

3-D Trees

Hello there. Happy 4th of July to all our American readers. I meant to have this post up sooner, but the fun adventure of the holiday weekend have gotten in the way. Honestly I haven't gotten much done at all this weekend except fun with the family...which is a very good thing. We took our girls to the drive-in movie last night, then some family time this morning, and now we are getting ready to head to our friend's house for a picnic and then fireworks. Wooo...busy busy. Anyway today I wanted to share a couple Christmas cards with you I made using the Tree Pattern stamp from Eureka Stamps.

This is another one of the cool 3-D images from Eureka Stamps. You stamp this one, cut, score, and piece together....and...ta da...a 3-D tree! I decided to make mine into Christmas trees by adding stickles to them for garland and ornaments. I also added a little "stump" to my trees by taking a piece of brown PP, and scoring it. I felt a tree needed a stump...lol. I then used some gold CS and my star punch to make stars for the tops of my trees. I thought about adding a sentiment to these, but honestly I felt they were neat enough alone. Well that is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by!

Crazy Kitty Set

Today, there are my absolute favorite stamp on a card. I love this cat. I've done it myself in the header of the blog. Is that not cute? It is the "Crazy Kitty Set (Cat and Paws)". This subject and many many other great stamps you can get in the stamp shop Biblical Impressions

The wall I made with matches and I colored the image with watercolor pencils and I wiped with turpentine.

Have a nice day

Tree Pattern - 3D-stamps

The summer is doing a break in Germany since yesterday and we can look at the winter and Christmas now. Time goes by so fast, it will not last long.
Today I made a winter card and I used the 3D-stamp from the Eureka-Rubber-Shop. This is a wonderful thing.
Tried it a try, it's fun. It is really easy.
My stamp is the 3D-stamp with name Tree Pattern
.
I stamped it, cut out and folded. The round arches was embosst in white. Then the parts were glued and to the end provided with ice crystals.

Have a nice weekend
Monika
