blossoms and pearls...

Happy Tuesday.!! This is Jessica B. for QKR Stampede  with a CAS ( clean and simple) card for you today. I love CAS..
For my card I used this oh so pretty blossom. If you haven't checked out QKR recently ...you might want to. It is full of cute as well a pretty stamps..

I stamped the blossom in a pale green ink so it would be light enough to color. Then I used my Prismacolors and OMS. I cut an oval out around the image and matted it onto some dp from my stash ( I have no idea who made it..it was from a swap), then put some tiny pearls on it, then matted it to a piece of pink satin ribbon and adhered that to a premade prescored card base.Very simple..( side note:  I know it looks like I was trying to put the pearls *around* the oval and went all crooked on it..BUT it in reality there were tiny little dots on the paper that I * thought* would be a cute backdrop for the pearl..HA!..I really could have put them around the oval in some kind of order..LOL..I just didn't realize how wonky it looked UNTIL NOW ;))

So that is it for me today! My flower beds are calling my name! I hope you are having a great week!

  3. Jessica,
LOve, love, love your coloring! It's a beautiful card. I did go in and edit the picture so that it fit the page better. If you click on the picture when you are writing the post you can choose the size. It was set on Xlarge and I just changed it to large! I have that image...need to go try to color it the way you did!
