When I first spotted this not so ferocious-looking Lion image, I knew he was very special. I ordered him in a digital version, and that makes it so easy to customize his size to exactly fit your project. The sentiment can be found Here

This lion is printed in the original size onto X-Press It Blending Card. He was then colored with Copics E30, E31, E33, E34 and E35. His crown is done in Y26 and Y28, with a touch of Stickles in Star Dust. After I allowed the Copics to dry well, I moistened a piece of a washcloth with Blending Solution and dabbed gently to create fur. Gold, Buttermilk, Gold and Chocolate Spica pens put extra sparkle in his main. Frayed Burlap Distress Ink was used to sponge the edges of the white paper. Dots of gold Liquid Pearls add a little bling.

The card base is a 6" square, and is cut of Stardream Metallics. Bright Gold Stardream is used here for the photo frame. Spellbinders dies were used to cut the frame and flourish. The patterned paper is SEI.

You've Been on My Heart

Hi everyone, Tory here! This is my first post on the design team, so thanks for visiting!

The digi I chose to play with was 55901 On My Heart, which I love. I knew I needed it right away for a sympathy card for a friend. This could also be used just to say hello or I'm thinking of you!

Here is my card:

I used Copics to color the image, then added some bling to the butterfly to make it stand out by lightly painting on a layer of glitter glue. I love how that made the butterfly look more alive! I inked the edges and then stuck it on the cardstock. This is a huge card, 6" x 7.5" which will really serve to make this card the centre of my friend's card display!

Pear

Hello!  Kristie here today!

Today I'm showing you a card I made with

"Pear" (#3801) from QKR Stampede.

I stamped the image randomly on white cardstock with black ink and also stamped one image onto cardstock to be colored with FlexMarkers.

I cut down the strip and layered it onto green cardstock, and did the same with the single colored image.

I used some ribbon from my stash that I thought went well with the image.

I like how this card turned out and I think this would be a lovely card for just about any occasion.

Life's A Beach...

Good Morning Everyone, it is Katie here today to share my latest card with you:

Today I am posting a lovely summery card.  The weather in the UK is far from sunny but this card brings a little Sunshine!

I have made this into an easel card, using lots of bright seaside colours.

Recipe & Method:

1.  Make an 8" x 8" Easel card from Kraft card.

2. Mat and layer yellow card stock onto the top of the card and the bottom layer.

3.  Stick the stripy blue paper onto the bottom layer, scallop the bottom of the blue paper for the top card and stick it down.

4.  Add a section of red spotty paper to both the top card and the bottom.

5. Colour and cut the image and layer it onto first red paper, then yellow cardstock and Kraft card.  Add the ribbon and the button embellishment.

6. Adhere to spotty paper and attach to card.

7. Print and cut the "Life's A Beach" sentiment and layer it onto the shell paper and attach to card.

8. Embellish using the bunting and the sandcastles.

I have used Promarkers to colour the images: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Sky Blue, Berry Red, Lime Green, Sunflower, Vanilla, Mustard.

I really enjoyed making this card from this image, I think it is one I will use again and again.

I'm working on those Christmas cards again!

Today I have a Christmas card that I made using

"Round Ornament" (#83405)

from Biblical Impressions.

I stamped the image onto red cardstock and cut out only the ornament part of the image. I used a silver pen to color in the top and design on the ornament and a bit of embroidery floss for the bow.

I have had this printed vellum in my stash for ages, I have always loved it, but just never found a project to use it on.

So glad I pulled it out for this card!

This picture shows the pine sprigs on the vellum a little better.

I thought the pine sprigs were a perfect background for the ornament.

I had the 'celebrate' bling in my stash and thought it would be a nice festive touch for the card.

Well, one more down in my quest to get my Christmas cards done early!
