This image is just perfect for Father’s Day and such fun to color: you can’t help but smile while coloring.
I used Copic markers to color the image and fish:
0 BlenderC3 Cool Grey No. 3
C5 Cool Grey No. 5
C7 Cool Grey No. 7
E21 Baby Skin Pink
E25 Caribe Cocoa
E29 Burnt Umber
E33 Sand
R39 Cardinal
R89 Dark Red
Y38 Honey
YR04 Chrome Orange
Silver Prismacolor pencil for the rods and blue chalks with a blender pen to apply the shading around the image.
One important tip to remember about mixing these color mediums is too do all the Copic coloring first because the wax from the pencils and the chalks will damage the markers.
The image panel and fish are popped up with layers of very thick tape.
The sentiment was created with Stickers from K&Company
Image: Eureka Stamps - 6104 – Father and Son Bear
Paper: Die Cute with a View solid paper, Marcos white, My Mind’s Eye designer paper
Ink: Memento – Tuxedo Black
Your coloring is flawless! Love this fun design and image.
