Smiling Turtle

Welcome to QKR Stampede!

I hope you are having a great week!

Today I have a bright to share with you that I made with this fun turtle image, In the Rain.
QKR Stampede has a bunch of really cute turtle images that you can see HERE.

I stamped the turtle with Memento tuxedo Black dye ink and colored him with Copic Markers.
The pattered paper is from lillybeedesign's Head over Heels tiny tablet.
I punched the flowers from the paper and adhered Dew Drops to the center of the flowers.

I decorated the inside of the card using the
Your Smile sentiment.

That's all I have for you today!

Have a great rest of the week and thanks for stopping by!

Blessed are the Peacemakers

This dove background stamp makes a beautiful image without any coloring at all, and so, a very simple card. However, I wanted to do some coloring ... well, some coloring ended up being coloring everything!

I stamped the image with Brilliance blue, and used chalks and colored pencils. The "makers" does not stand out well, so I darkened the letters with pencil. It's not visible, but I used a little grey chalk on the dove.

Create

"A fun card!"
That's what my son called this card when I showed it to him.

Welcome!
Today I'm showing you this card that I made using the
"Art Palette" (#19601) image from QKR Stampede.
The "Art Palette" was stamped onto water color paper and colored with water color crayons and fussy cut.

I used papers from my scrap stash to put this card together and I was so glad when I found that polka dot paper. I thought it was perfect to give that fun feel to the card. Guess Jaryd thought so too!

The multi-colored ribbon is also from my stash.
It worked perfect with the card, don't you think?

I used rub ons for the 'create'

Lastly, I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the paint on the palette and brushes.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Then stop in to the QKR Stampede site and see what wonderful images you might like to create something with.

Simple Flower Thank You

Well I shared some Thank Yous I made using one of the Eureka Stamps, so now I will share the ones I made using the adorable Single Ribbon Flower Stamp from Biblical Impressions. For this one, I used the same purple and cream CS and some purple ink. (Can you tell purple is my favorite color?) I simply stamped the image in the corners, and added a sticker for the sentiment.
I was going to color the roses, but I am really into the non-colored look right now. Now I need to get to work helping my DD write all these notes!

Ladybug Thank You

Hello there. Happy Monday. Over the weekend, my youngest DD had her birthday party. So I needed some Thank Yous for her to send to her friends. I have been trying to use up supplies in my craft room, so I pulled out these pre-cut purple and cream papers again. (Yes I still have some...lol) I trimmed the cream CS to fit on the purple CS. Then I used the Ladybug Border stamp from Eureka Stamps and purple ink.
For the sentiment, I used a marker and hand wrote the Thank You. Very simple, but perfect for my DD to send to her friends. Thanks for stopping by!

A Choo Choo for you...

Hello! Happy April Fools Day!..This is Jessica B, for QKR Stampede today!

While I don't have a funny card to share today..I do have something that I love. I made this for my step-sons birthday. It is a wall hanging( Or will be when I get it matted and framed).

While this looks complicated..it really wasn't. I used this awesome train, this grass, and this groups of rocks. Oh and I used this fence. Where is the fence you ask?? Well...I wanted the train to have some track...well I used a marker and colored just the first piece of "wood" on the fence them stamped in from the side..and made a "track"..yes you can now marvel at me genius LOL! ( oh..there was NO maksing done on this..believe it or not..)

The rest is pretty straightforward..colored with colored pencils and OMS... I must admit that some of the perspective is "off" but that is OK too..you can't turn a stamp to many ways..

Well that is it for me..I have been out of town for a week with my oldest son and just got back late last night and am SO tired...I think a nap is in order for me! I hope you are having a fabulous Sunday!

Bright Sunflowers

Sorry for the late post. Today is my birthday and I didn't realize that the hubs had things planned  and I was away from the computer all day.
I have found another favorite from Biblical Impressions, This image is fun to color and even though sunflowers are typically yellow, I had fun with this stamp,  35801 - Med Sunflower and made a bright note card set for a gift.
