Burnished Autumn
Hello! This is Deb (Paper Crazy Lady) with a September Design Team project. This one celebrates the beautiful, rich colors of Autumn. This card is full of shimmer which is (obviously) one of my favorite looks. It features the QKR Stampde image entitled Digi Leaf.
This card begins with a 5 3/4" square base cut in Stardream metallic. Next cut four squares in a contrast color at 2 5/8", and another four squares in the base color at 2 1/2". Emboss the smaller squares with Cuttlebug's Bird Call folder. Adhere all layers.
Next, print the leaves in three different sizes onto watercolor paper. I set the images at 8", 4.5" and 4". Sponge Distress Ink onto the leaves in Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Fired Brick and Vinage Photo. Cut out the leaves. Apply an edge and varied dots with a VersaMark pen and heat emboss in gold. Spray the leaves with, orange, green and gold tones of Smooch Spritz. While wet, krinkle each leaft in your had. Gently open up the leaves and allow to dry or dry with heat gun. Cut stems off two smaller leaves and reserve. Cut the two smaller leaves into two halves. Adhere large leaf to card with a bead of glue down the centre. Tuck leaf halves just underneath the main leaf, and adhere. Glue leaf stems close to main leaf stem.
Create ribbon bow and attach. Finish with 3 cyrstals.
